Vintage 1940s silver bracelet featuring fine filigree details in six sections. The bracelet features Egyptian scenes set in plagues, the central engraved scene is silver gilt, it has a wash of rose gold. The bracelet secures with a pin and safely chain.
The piece would have been a souvenir brought back to England from a holiday abroad. Filigree is a delicate form of metal work in silver or gold creating a lace effect. This style of jewellery was very popular in Italy and France in the late 19th century.
